Hurricane Season

This collection is inspired by my time on Sanibel Island, Florida. Hurricane Ian transformed the landscape and the images still fill my thoughts. These pieces explore the power of the ocean and its beauty. I explored my feelings using deep hues in acrylic on canvas. The paper mache birds celebrate the resilience of nature and hope for a brighter future on the island.
